came here with my family after a dodger game. my dad really likes this place so i was interested in try their food. service was solid. it was busy so it took a little to get our order, but our food came out quick. it's got a classic Chinese restaurant vibe. idk how else to explain the interior. i tried the chicken wings w/ spicy salt, fried rice, and orange peel chicken. the fried rice was solid, nothing to write home about, but i am also not a huge fried rice fiend. the orange peel chicken was very good. super crispy and the sauce was not overly sweet. my favorite dish was the chicken wing with spicy salt. it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. not to mention super flavorful. it wasn't very spicy but there was definitely spice to it if that makes sense. overall hop woo is very good food and you get a lot for the price. id recommend coming and trying if the menu looks intriguing to you.

It should be noted that my review is based off of an Uber eats review. First off the prices are more expensive on Uber eats as compared to just dining in so that played a part in my review. Overall I thought the flavor and quality was good. As compared to other Chinese restaurants I've tried it was about average which was not bad. We ordered chicken corn soup, basked fish, walnut shrimp, vegetable egg rolls, Mongolian beef, stir fry vegetables, fried rice, orange peel chicken, house special chow mein crispy noodle, and fried tofu with white rice on the side. It was for my family of seven and they were all satisfied and it fed us all. I think the fried tofu was my favorite and the walnut shrimp. The flavors were good and the quality was descent. Overall it was a good dinner to treat my loved ones to. I'd definitely order from this place again or try in dining for a better idea of how their food is.

We stumbled into this restaurant with a low expectation due to reviews left by other yelpers. We decided to try it because there were plenty of people inside and the place looked inviting. Our server was lovely and very attentive. We order two dinners and tea. The food arrived surprisingly fast and super hot and fresh. 1. The egg drop soup was light, airy, seasoned light and was a perfect starter. 2. The appetizers were on point, tasty flavorful and just enough. Spring roll, battered shrimp, BBQ pork. Everything was perfect, not too greasy not to dry and with good flavor. 3.the sweet and sour pork was sweet and savory 4. The shrimp in lobster sauce was excellent, and the shrimp were so fresh and tasty. Overall my experience was great and although this is not the best chinesefood ever, it's good, wholesome, clean, and open late. The pricing is fair, and you for sure won't leave hungry. I'm definitely coming back to try everything. Food, service and ambiance were on point.
